    How to Use

    Hydrogen peroxide solutions for contact lenses come in two forms. The first is referred to as a one-step solution because the cleaning and sterilization happen at the same time due to the presence of a neutralizing disc.The second is referred to as a two-step solution because the hydrogen peroxide cleans and then you must insert a protein removing tablet to sterilize the solution.

    1-Step Cleaning - With In-Case Neutralizer

    1. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
    2. Fill the cylindrical contact lens case provided in the solution kit with the hydrogen peroxide solution.
    3. Place your contact lenses in the lens holder.
    4. Submerge the lens holder in the case and close the case by screwing the cap.
    5. Leave for at least 6 hours, according to the instructions label provided. During this time, bubbles will form. This means that the hydrogen peroxide is working to break up protein, bacteria, and other harmful substances and removing them from the surface of the lens. In the meantime, the colored disc at the bottom of the cylindrical contact lens case neutralizes and sterilizes the hydrogen peroxide and transforms it into oxygen and water.
    6. Unscrew cap and rinse your lens holder with the lenses inside with the suitable saline rinsing solution.

    8. Discard the hydrogen peroxide remaining in the case and leave it to dry.

    2-Step Cleaning - With Protein Removal Tablet

    1. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
    2. Fill the cylindrical contact lens case provided in the solution kit with the hydrogen peroxide solution.
    3. Place your contact lenses in the lens holder.
    4. Submerge the lens holder in the case and close the case by screwing the cap.
    5. Leave for at least 6 hours, according to the instructions label provided. During this time, bubbles will form. This means that the hydrogen peroxide is working to break up protein, bacteria, and other harmful substances and removing them from the surface of the lens.
    6. Unscrew cap and insert the protein removal tablet in the case. This tablet neutralizes and sterilizes the hydrogen peroxide solution, making the contact lenses safe for wearing.
    7. Screw the cap closed once again.
    8. Unscrew cap and rinse your lens holder with the lenses inside with the suitable saline rinsing solution.

    10. Discard the hydrogen peroxide remaining in the case and leave it to dry.

    Guidelines for Proper Use

    Hydrogen peroxide solutions are remarkably strong and effective contact lens cleaners. However, to ensure the best results and the safest use, we recommend following the guidelines below.

    • Wash and dry hands thoroughly before handling your contact lenses.
    • Never use hydrogen peroxide solutions with colored contact lenses as they will remove the dyes on them.
    • Hydrogen peroxide solutions do expire and also have a shelf life when the bottle is unopened. Be sure to use your hydrogen peroxide solution only when it is still valid.
    • Always use the contact lens case provided in the hydrogen peroxide solution kit.
    • Read the instructions provided with your solution kit.
    • Leave your contact lenses stored in the solution in the proper case for at least 6 hours.
    • Always follow the process with rinsing your contact lenses with a sterile solution. Failure to do so may result in sharp eye pain and possible chemical injury.
    • Discard any remaining solution, bottles, or contact lens cases upon expiry.
    • Never put hydrogen peroxide solution directly in your eyes.
    • Never share your hydrogen peroxide solution to avoid the risk of infections.
    • Consult an eye care professional before using a hydrogen peroxide solution.
